Dave is a tumor biologist with an interest in why childhood trauma increases a person’s risk of having cancer during adulthood. He is also Editor-in-Chief of Cancer InCytes Magazine, a public health e-magazine that discusses the healthcare challenges facing disadvantaged populations.
His passion to raise the next generation of thinkers and doers has also led him into the education consulting industry. Dave obtained his B.A. and Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley. He did post-doctoral research jointly between Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and New York University.
He formerly taught biochemistry to general biology. Dave’s passion is to better society through influencing education reform, social justice, and cancer research. He likes to train the next generation of thinkers & doers.
